Antique Bathroom Design Tips

Antique bathroom designs can be a fun way to give your house that warm and fuzzy feeling of the past. The most important visual aspect of your bathroom is without a doubt the vanity. When choosing the right vanity for your bathroom, you must first decide on the size and function of your vanity. Is your vanity just for looks? Do you need a lot of storage space? Would a double or single vanity benefit you most? Once you have answered these questions the next step is figuring out whether you are designing your bathroom around your vanity or looking for a vanity to match your pre-existing design.  At Premiere Vanities, no matter what the case may be, we are sure to have a vanity that is perfect for you!

When designing your antique bathroom, it is always best to follow your design all the way through, sticking with a specific style. For example, you wouldn’t want to put an antique vanity in a contemporary bathroom unless that is what your heart desires. Below are some examples of antique style bathrooms. As you can see, not all antique bathrooms have that not so modern look. It is perfectly acceptable to give your bathroom an antique feel with a modern twist. There is no right or wrong when designing a bathroom, so long as you are satisfied with the end result. Note how the bathroom vanity truly is the centerpiece that unites the room.

Regardless of room size, the vanity is still an important factor in the bathroom’s overall design. Just because you have made the decision to go with an antique bathroom does not mean you have to replicate Queen Elizabeth’s bathroom detail for detail.  It is ok to tone it down or mix it up with an antique modern feel. There are several types of antique bathrooms, ranging from the simplistic farmhouse all the way to the regal castle. Our wide selection gives you the freedom and flexibility to create the bathroom of YOUR dreams. Below are examples of the styles of double and single antique vanities that we offer. Be sure to check out our antique vanity section for a complete list of our models.
